Accredited Pal Wipes Prove their Effectiveness
February 21st 2007 Pal International is the World leader in the manufacture of impregnated wipes, with over 36 years’ international trading experience to over 70 countries. The pursuit of excellence is a priority for Pal, from the efficacy of the products themselves, to the extent of the range and global availability. All conversion and impregnation of Pal’s wipes takes place at its Leicester headquarters, giving control over the entire production process.
Pal traditionally supplied the food and catering markets but now also supplies wipes to businesses in a multitude of sectors, ranging from healthcare and pharmaceuticals, through to automotive and engineering.

The Company relies strongly on its in-house team of chemists and micro-biologists for wipes Research and Development work. Proof of efficacy for the wipes is an absolute must, and Pal relies on external independent testing to prove that, for example, its disinfectant wipes are effective against bacteria, viruses and fungi within 60 seconds of use on hard surfaces. University test data certifies that on surfaces contaminated with the likes of MRSA, Influenza, Salmonella, Listeria, TB, HIV and Clostridium Difficile, the micro-organisms cannot survive when treated with the Pal disinfectant formula.
The wipes are a safe, quick and convenient method of delivering the correct dosage of disinfectant or cleaning solution, helping to support HACCP and due diligence cleaning regimes. There is no excuse for cross-contamination between surfaces, or using soiled cloths which become a breeding ground for bacteria, with the availability of Pal’s accredited wipes. The Technical Department is justifiably proud of its ability to satisfy customers’ rigid requirements, with bespoke projects worked on to develop solutions according to specific needs.
Recent developments within the Company have included the advent of flexible packaging for wipes, in softpacks and refills. Ease of storage and portability is proven with the softpacks, with the refill packs offering environmental advantages due to the opportunity to re-use rigid buckets and tubs. Pal has also become a distributor for Dupont Sontara® Dry Wipers, opening up the Pal brand reputation for service and quality into new markets such as printing, and expanding further into car care.
